The Laser 4000 Class Association is run by enthusiastic Laser 4000 sailors to provide support to sailors and to represent the class to sailing clubs. The class association organise the racing events throughout the year and the legendary socials that accompany them. In addition, the class association maintains the very fine web site you are now reading!
Members of the Class Association enjoy many benefits including access to the lively Chat Forum and the latest deals on new kit. You also have to be a member of the Class Association to compete in the events circuit.
Joining the class association is very easy – simply print out the membership form which you can download from the Association Info page and post it with a cheque to the address stated on that page. Alternatively bring a completed form and a cheque to the next event. If you have any questions then please email the new members secretaries – email addresses also appear on the Association Info page.
There are three types of membership:
• Full member (£20) – boat owners (only one full member per boat required)
• Associate (£10) – non boat owners who are crewing/helming
• Flexible (£30) – a flexible membership for boat owners who have many crews/helms over a season
